Ainsley Gommon Architects have been appointed by Gwynedd Council to design a new Primary School for Cricieth. The Council intend to replace the existing School, Ysgol Treferthyr, with a new 150 capacity school to accommodate the children of the Cricieth catchment area. After considering eleven sites around the town, the current site along the A497 to the West of Cricieth town centre area was chosen as best suited for the proposal. The new school will provide six classrooms, an ALN classroom, a Early Years Unit along with a number of different teaching spaces, staff and administration areas and a large hall.

We would be grateful to receive any comments or observations you may have relating to this proposed development before the pre-application consultation period of 28 days ends at 5.00pm on the 29th of June 2021.
