We are delighted to have secured planning consent for 115 new homes on a brownfield site in Port Sunlight Wirral.
The application was called to committee by local Councillors who raised concerns about the abundance of car parking where car pooling should be encouraged and concerns to the distance of the nearest shops. However, committee chair Stuart Kelly noted that none of the objections had any merit.
He went on further to state “Frankly if we can’t build houses on sites like this without people objecting to them, we’ve got no chance – no chance whatsoever of protecting genuine green spaces.”
The committee members therefore voted unanimously to approve the application and Lovell anticipate a start on site early in the New Year.
