The restoration works at Birkenhead Priory was the winner in the Conservation Category of the 2017 RICS North West awards. The works at the priory have included restoration of the tower and spire of the 1819 Thomas Rickman designed Church of St Mary, Restoration of the medieval ruins of the priory buildings and alterations and improvements to the priory museum. AGA shared a table at the awards dinner with AURA Conservation, the specialist stone masonry and conservation contractor for the restoration of the priory ruins.
