Deeside 6, Coleg Cambria’s new sixth form centre was successfully awarded the Best Education Project in North Wales at the Local Authority Building Control Awards, following a win in the Flintshire category. Built by Wynne Construction, the £14 million project provides specialist science, music, creative and performing arts facilities, as well as general teaching spaces and social and private study areas for 16-19 year old learners in Flintshire. Following this win, the scheme will now be put forward for the national award later in the year.
