The restoration works at Birkenhead Priory have been shortlisted in the Conservation Category of the 2017 RICS North West awards. The shortlist includes a total of seven projects across the region and a final choice of winner will be announced at an awards dinner on 19th May 2017 at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. The works at the priory have included restoration of the tower and spire of the 1819 Thomas Rickman designed Church of St Mary, Restoration of the medieval ruins of the priory buildings and alterations and improvements to the priory museum. AGA will share a table at the awards dinner with AURA Conservation, the specialist stone masonry and conservation contractor for the restoration of the priory ruins.
