Ainsley Gommon Architects

Ainsley Gommon successfully secured planning approval for the conversion of the Wallasey Courthouse into 21 apartments through the refurbishment of the former cells and conversion of the court room and offices. Although the building is not listed the historic building holds an important local presence, and the proposals have been designed to be fully reversible. The envelope of the building is in reasonable condition, although some existing stonework features will require repair or replacement, including the window mullions.
