Works are progressing at 42-50 Neville Street, Southport with the scaffolding now down revealing the vast transformation. Nevill Street is one of the main thoroughfares in Southport Town centre and the building is a non-designated heritage asset.

The project received funding from the Southport Townscape Heritage Project – a regeneration project intended to help improve historic buildings in Southport’s town centre conservation areas that are in need of investment.

Most of the external works are now complete and the interior fit our continues on site. Once complete, the building will consist of 3 ground floor commercial units and 8 flats above.

Ainsley Gommon became involved in the scheme during RIBA Stage 4 after planning approval was obtained by AWE Architectural Design Consultancy LTD.

The building has come a long way from the dilapidated state it was previously in.
