We’re very pleased that our project with Your Housing Group has won at planning appeal to deliver 54 much needed affordable homes to Netherton, Bootle.
The original application was recommended for approval by the planning authority after we worked closely with the acousticians and Environmental Health Officer, but was denied permission at the planning committee from the members due to proximity to the industrial units on Heysham Road.
Despite addressing the committee members comments in the second application and reducing the scheme by 11 units to pull the housing away from the industrial units, the planning authority decided to no longer support the application and it was refused.
This has recently been overturned at appeal from a Planning Inspectorate who doesn’t see any issues with the development.
