We are excited to share photos of the recently completed clubhouse at Rhyl Golf Club.

This new build golf club and community hub represents a significant development for North Wales’ oldest golf club. Driven by the club’s vision to create a welcoming and accessible space with sustainability in mind, it will now serve as a dynamic hub for both club members and the wider Rhyl community.

Our involvement at RIBA Stage 4 focused on delivering a detailed technical design for this low-carbon building. The project integrates a range of sustainable features, including a Welsh timber frame structure, solar panels, and electric vehicle charging stations, all contributing to Rhyl Golf Club’s ambition to become the UK’s first carbon-neutral golf club.

The clubhouse was designed to maximize coastal views, with a spacious balcony providing a focal point for social gatherings. The function room acts as a community hub, and hosts a variety of events for local people.
