We are delighted to announce the new 150 place Ysgol Treferthyr primary school for Cyngor Gwynedd in Cricieth has recently been handed over. The school is located on a greenfield site at the edge of the town.

The project was developed under the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools Programme to provide a modern learning environment. The school provides six classrooms, an ALN classroom, an Early Years Unit as well as a large hall, multi-use/resource room, staff facilities, sports pitch, hard surface playing area, multi-use games area and associated car parking with new highway access.

The school was built by Wynne Construction and will open in September 2024. The project was highly collaborative and the team worked hard right through to deliver the scheme.
