Ty Nos, Wrexham’s new temporary shelter building for homeless people is close to being completed. The project replaces the existing outmoded homeless shelter building and temporary associated modular cabin shelter units/buildings.

The scheme consists of a varied arrangement of 19 no. one bedroom self-contained apartments with an office providing accommodation for support staff and 20 parking spaces. The work is being carried out for ClwydAlyn with Wrexham County Borough Council by Gareth Morris Construction limited and is due to be handed over in September 2024.

The high quality residential units/apartments are constructed from offsite manufactured Beattie Passive timber panels and are laid out in five blocks and would be occupied by people designated as homeless … rough sleepers in Wrexham and the wider area. Shared courtyard spaces with planting and seating areas are provided.
