Ainsley Gommon Architects

The Conversion of Grade 2 listed 509-515 Lord Street in Southport has recently been completed. Architecture JD (Julien Dennis) from Liverpool designed the conversion of the building into 9 apartments and 2 shop units. Ainsley Gommon Architects worked with Sefton Townscape Heritage Initiative and the NLHF as conservation advisors and heritage grant assessors on the project.

The work was carried out for Ironshore Ltd by main contactor Rosslee. The restored building makes a striking improvement to the streetscape of Lord Street at its junction with bold Street. The works have included complete restoration of the decorative leaded glazing in the upper floor windows of the building.
