Ainsley Gommon have been helping North East Wales Care and Repair with their ambitious plans to redevelop the site and buildings of the former Tata Steel Sports and Social Club in Shotton. The practice is working closely with the Client to look at range of potentially viable options for regenerating and expanding the current uses, while maintaining and growing vocational, sport and recreation opportunities. Recent dialogue with Flintshire County Council and a broad range of potential stakeholders to create a new wellbeing centre to support the Deeside community has received widespread support from local businesses, charities and care providers.
