Pentre Canol Supported Living Village

Pre-planning consultation is being carried out by Grŵp Cynefin for the Pentre Canol Supported Living Village in Denbigh. Developed in partnership with Denbighshire County Council, the supported living village provides a total of 52 extra care apartments, 18 supported living units and one four-bed community living apartment. Ainsley Gommon have provided architectural, conservation and landscape services for the project, which is located on a former educational site within Denbigh’s town centre and Conservation Area.

This is our first major planning application since the changes to the Planning Act in Wales which came into effect on the 1st August 2016, requiring a minimum 28 day public consultation period prior to the submission of a major application. The comments received will be considered and summarised into a ‘Pre-application Consultation Report’ and will be submitted alongside the planning application in due course.

The relevant consultation documents can be downloaded from Grŵp Cynefin’s website, where there is an online form and email address available to provide comments. There are also two open ‘walk-in’ sessions being held at Denbigh Museum, between 4pm – 8pm on 21st November and 5th December, where Grŵp Cynefin and Ainsley Gommon staff will be available to explain and discuss the proposals.

Visit our project page for more information on the project.
