On Friday 13th June, staff from the Merseyside and Wales offices visited London on their annual away day to raise design awareness. Staff began the day walking around a very sunny Kings Cross in central London, through 67 acres of disused railway lands which is being transformed into a vibrant mixed use scheme of old and new buildings around 26 acres of public space.

In the afternoon, staff headed over to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to enjoy a walk around the Park’s open spaces, as well as visiting a number of buildings including Zaha Hadid’s London Aquatic Centre and Hopkins Architect’s Velodrome.
