The development of 23 new CfSH units at Seatoller Close in Morton, Carlisle was completed in early April 2012.

Riverside in Carlisle in partnership with Lovell has developed affordable housing for rent and shared ownership on this site. The 23 new units are built to the requirements of Housing Quality Indicators as set out within the Design Quality Standards under the Homes and Communities Agency. The scheme is designed to meet Lifetime Homes, Building for Life and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3. The orientation and pitch of the roofs are optimised for the use of solar panels.

All the units in the new development have private rear gardens and on the street frontages, managable private garden spaces screened by shrub planting with access paths and in curtilage parking. The dwellings have been laid out to integrate with the surrounding communities, in Seatoller Close, Newlaithes Avenue and Loughrigg Terrace respectively, embedding the scheme by dovetailing it into the established community at Morton.
