Rosemount Avenue, Preesall

Ainsley Gommon has continued to work with Lovell Partnership for several decades on multiple new housing schemes and have now successfully delivered this project in Preesall, Lancashire. This project was developed with Lovell in partnership with Jigsaw Homes, consisting of 42 dwellings for affordable rent.

This development is a mixture of semi-dethatched and terraced two storey homes that are designed to fit within the existing grain of the surrounding neighbourhood. The new housing makes use of the existing perimeter fence, along with new boundaries to the rear to separate the development from the street. The front boundaries are open to the street with material delineation between the public and private realms, encouraging passive surveillance for a safe and inviting environment.

This development contributes to the housing provision in Wyre, which has suffered from an affordable housing shortage as with much of the UK. Schemes such as this will have a lasting impact on the community and we continue to work on many affordable housing schemes into the future.
