Development Overview
Award winning development of 17no. new build dwellings comprising a mix of two, three and four bed houses and bungalows with secure gardens and off-street parking responding to the local need for a variety of high quality, affordable homes with excellent access to local amenities.
Constructed by Gareth Morris Construction Ltd, the scheme was delivered for Grŵp Cynefin housing association, working in partnership with the Gwynedd CC and the Welsh Government.
The homes are a mix of off-white render finish combined with stone clad feature gables sympathetic to the local building style. Incorporating modern methods of construction, solar panels and having a high standard of thermal efficiency to achieve an EPC ‘A’ rating, these help reduce the overall energy costs for the tenants.
The scheme was awarded winner of the LABC 2023 Best Small Social Housing Development (10-20 dwellings) in both the North Wales and the National Grand Final:
